RE vision
RE is an integral part of everyday life for many of the children attending St. Margaret’s. Here in our school, children will learn about different religions, belief systems, festivals and rituals. We follow ‘Understanding Christianity’ for all our Christian based RE. Each year we spend a term learning about another religion.
As a church school, our ethos is underpinned by our Christian Values and these are introduced during our Collective Worship and lived through the life of the school.
Through Collective Worship we provide opportunities for our pupils to learn about, question, discuss and reflect on a range of Christian Values. We use the Christian calendar as a guide to ensure that we offer a broad perspective on each of them which is relevant to the age of our children.
