Maths
This week we are going to be following White Rose planning for maths. We might find we have done some of the work before, but that is ok, it will help us revise. Year 5 follow these links: https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-5/ Year 6 follow these links: https://whiterosemaths.com/homelearning/year-6/ Start on Week 1 Day 1 on Monday. There are answers so you can check how you have got on, please let me know, either via email or comment below. You do not need to print out the questions, just write the answers in your book. Literacy Monday: look at the picture: http://www.pobble365.com/rumpelstiltskin Complete the sentence activities, writing sentences using relative clauses and commas. Then complete the 'sick' sentences. Can you rewrite them so that they are more exciting and interesting to read? Tuesday: looking at the picture from yesterday - complete the questions. If you need to do more research about Grimm stories, remember to use www.swiggle.org.uk to carry out your searching. Wednesday: using the picture from Monday - continue on the story. You can write them in your books or type them and email them to me. Thursday: either continue your story (which included editing) or complete the study ladder activities. Friday: complete the studyladder activities. Topic As it is sunny, draw a picture of some flowers in your garden (or use images from the computer) Take a photo of your pictures and I'll post them on the blog. Complete the activities on Studyladder for Science. In addition: I expect you to do Readtheory every day and complete Corbetts five a day: https://corbettmathsprimary.com/5-a-day/ (just use the current date) and learn your spellings It would be good if you joined with PE with Joe Wicks every day: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCAxW1XT0iEJo0TYlRfn6rYQ

Hi yes you can start with today's date. If you recognise the questions, that is because we have done them before - so if you find them easy, try the next level!

Hi ya. So sorry only just realised this was available!!! Alden will be trying to catch up. Been doing a lot of other things like baking and gardening. He made an amazing lemon cake! The worksheets are proving challenging, but he is enjoying Studyladder and Read theory. Fingers crossed he enjoys this too. Hope you are all ok. Lots of love.

That's ok, I expect most people did because when you went to the website it took you straight to week 2, something I didn't realise when I set the work.
