Welcome to May! A huge WELL DONE to all of you doing corbetts5aday and read theory every day This week we are going to continue with our problem solving maths. http://www.iseemaths.com/lessons56/ Remember to watch the video, pause it when it says and then click the link under the video to access the problems for each day. I have added an extra maths sheet which has a problem a day you can do if you choose. Literacy - thank you to all of you who have been sharing your stories with me, I have really enjoyed reading them. Again I have added a story starter for you. We are looking this week at a Fairy Tale ending. As usual I expect you to do all the activities (the picture is optional). Instead of writing the end as a story, could you write a diary or a newspaper report? There will also be additional activities to complete on studyladder. For those of you who love writing I have added a daily writing challenge - have a go see what you think. Topic - have a go at some of the activities - you do not have to do them all! Wow - you are so active - I loved your circuits and must try some of them out. This week I have added an active May calendar which gives you different activities to do each day during May. Which was your favourite? VE day On Friday as a nation we are commemorating VE day as a Bank Holiday. Therefore before Friday have a look at the activities below to find out more about VE day. Share with me what you have found out so we can add it to the blog.
