Science: go through the power point and watch the two videos about how plants and camels adapt to their environments. Then pick a plant and an animal and think about how it adapts to it's environment - use the questions on the power point as prompts.
Topic: we are going to be finding out about the meaning of place names. Have a look at the sheet to find the meaning of the different place names. Then use a map to find some Anglo-Saxon place names and mark them on your map.

Science - have a look at the 3 star sheets - can you match the animal to it's environment and adaptations.
RE - read Psalm 6: 16-19 do you know what each line means.
Topic - look at the map - can you mark on where the different invaders came from?

Year 6 - we will all miss you - good luck at your Secondary Schools
Whilst having fun over the summer, why not keep up with some work. I have attached 7 Literacy activities, 7 reading comprehensions and 7 maths videos with worksheets. This is enough for you to do one piece every week.

Well done everyone - you are doing so well keeping up with all the work that I am setting. I know that it has been difficult not being able to come to school everyday and that we have had a long time working at home - but you are all amazing. We have two more weeks, so let's continue the hard work!!
