Janet Young - Chair of Governors
I live in Yeovil and I am now retired. I worked for 36 years for the NHS. Upon leaving the NHS I worked in secondary education as a learning support assistant working with children with special educational needs and disabilities. I have been a governor for 12 years. Eight at a previous school and four in Tintinhull. I am Chair of Governors and link governor for safeguarding. I believe that all children are unique and each child should have every opportunity to flourish and grow thus enabling them to reach their full potential.

Caroline Burton- Governor
My husband and I retired to live in Tintinhull, prior to this move I worked in Administration for 22 years at an FE college. I have two grandchildren attending St Margaret's so have an interest in the School. I joined the Governing Body as LA Governor, with a duty for Health & Safety. I feel very strongly that the school and all staff should be given all the support they need to ensure that the young children are given the best education available, making them strong and able to move onto a variety of opportunities for their futures.

I am a parent governor and have two boys at St Margaret’s. We are all passionate about helping our school be the best place it can be for the children to develop a life long love of learning. My first teaching job was in a small village school much like St Margaret’s where I taught Reception. I have also been a Children’s Centre Teacher in Lincolnshire. Now we live in Yeovil and I am a Teaching Assistant in a local school and a Parent and Family Support Advisor. I am the Pupil Premium Governor for St Margaret’s.
