( Good morning Little Pippins! Its going to be sunny and hot today!
Today's home learning is :-
Literacy - please watch this short video about VE Day which is tomorrow.
Tomorrow is a holiday so that we can celebrate VE Day.
How will you spend VE Day?
Please make a thank you poster for all the people that look after us and keep us safe.
Please include people that are in the Forces on your poster.
(Ask an adult to help you find a picture of someone who is in the Forces. It might be someone in your family.)
Maths - Day 5
(I have skipped to Day 5 as we have already planned a VE street party - if you wish to then please look at Day 4 for good ideas for planning a picnic - it can be easily adapted for tomorrow.)
Days of the week and life cycles.
We should be getting good at our days of the week now with our special song. What day did the Hungry caterpillar come out of the egg? Can you make a plan of your week this week? Look at the plans to help you set out your plan.

Our story today is another story by Eric Carle. All our stories this week have been written by him. Its about The Grouchy Ladybug!
(If you want to watch another story or keep this one for tomorrow, its a story about how daddies are also special people who look after us. Its Mister Seahorse , another story by Eric Carle
