Today is Friday!
Tomorrow is the weekend and next week is half-term holidays!
Our learning today begins with phonics.
Numeracy - Exploring Length
WARNING! PLEASE DO NOT USE REAL WORMS !
Get together your own collection of worms and see if you can cut them to different lengths. Talk about the lengths and even measure with a ruler or tape measure.
Use string, wool, paper etc! Or even spaghetti!
Worm Race A game to make the longest worm!

Literacy - Words for worms!
How many words can you think of to describe yucky super worms?
Make a list of words.
Remember that a list goes down the page. Use all your phonic sounds to help you spell the words. Also no wibbly wobbly letters!
Count up all your words. How many did you think of?
Activity - find an old long sock! Make some eyes and stick them on your sock.
You now have a worm puppet! Make up a show with your worm!
Our story today is The Incredible Worm by Daniel Postgate
Our song today is Worms, worms, worms!
All about wriggling giggling worms!
