Today is Friday!
Tomorrow is ... The day after is ... It's the weekend! Our learning today is Phonics first. Use your phonics mat that was in your pack to practise all the sounds that you have learnt so far. Literacy - Write a story about anything. It could be about a fly that escapes the spider, a ladybird that gets lost or a ladybird that has lost its spots! Watch this video that was made a long time ago! Your adults might remember Pippin the dog and Come Outside! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQ2RzDl0vvM Numeracy - Where is the fly? Through the story the spider is busy but she gets lots of visitors. Have a look for the fly and see if you can use some precise positional language. Lots of talking today! Can you draw a picture with animals/insects that are above, under, in and next to things? It could be a picture of a farm or of your bug hunt. Practise writing your numbers. They should be perfect by now but some numbers are tricky! Get Moving! What moves can you make with your body. Get a grownup to photograph you as you move under things over, in and even through! Remember next to, behind and in front of. Remember to share your photos with us of your spider fun this week! Our story today is Why Anansi has eight thin legs, a folk story from Africa. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3CIG6gfl_Xc (If you don't like spiders then don't worry - no more spiders next week!) Have a lovely weekend!
